AHA(Vic) conducts a range of events for member benefit; these are member hotels in both metropolitan and regional localities and includes:

A series of information seminars and workshops with hospitality industry experts regarding business development, cost control and profit imprvement to grow your business, i.e. Pubs, Pots, Profits, "How to attract and retain Gen Y staff", "Cooking the Books", "How to sell more functions" and "Pump up your Profits"

Seminars of interest to hoteliers with the purpose of providing timely information regarding topical industry issues, new technologies and sound business methods to assist business growth.
An interactive panel discussion gives hoteliers an insight into some of the tried and tested marketing techniques employed by experienced hoteliers, from across Victoria, to aid cost savings and profitability in similar business operations.
Pubs, Pots and Profits seminars are held in both metropolitan and regional locations at times convenient to you (typically Tuesday's or Wednesday's, 10am-2pm)

AHA (Vic) AGM Luncheon
This event is hosted at a member property in the second week of October each year. AHA (Vic) Councillors, Life Members, Associate and Corporate Members and hospitality industry identities come together following a review of the Association's financial performance at the AHA (Vic) Council/Annual General Meeting held earlier in the day

AHA (Vic) Council Luncheons
A democratically elected Council, consisting of hoteliers from across Victoria meet throughout the year to discuss important issues of the day. Meetings are hosted on the second Tuesday of the month at AHA (Vic) offices, 10am for a 10.30am start. AHA (Vic) members are welcome to attend these meetings as observers.
A luncheon is hosted at a member hotel immediately following this meeting where hoteliers and Associate and Corporate partners of AHA (Vic) can interact in a convivial setting to discuss business opportunities and new ideas.

AHA (Vic) State Awards for Excellence
The 2007 AHA Annual State Awards for Excellence is an industry celebration of the diversity and success of metropolitan and regional Victorian hotels.
Award nominations are received from a wide range of venues, all vying for success in one of at least 40 award categories.
In 2007 the Awards Night will be held on Monday November 12th in Melbourne's premiere entertainment venue, The Palladium Ballroom, Crown Entertainment Complex. With a headline act set to open the evening, this event presents a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that is great about our exciting industry.
Ticket price is $135 per person and includes a three-course meal, premium wines and ales and some of the finest entertainment acts.
